Appoints Common Adjudicating Authority

Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) Notification No. 27/2011-Customs (N.T.) New Delhi, dated the 1st April, 2011.
S.O. (E). – In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Joint Commissioner or Additional Commissioner of Customs (Import), Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Nhava Sheva, Post: Uran, District: Raigarh, Maharashtra, to act as a common adjudicating authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on-
(i) Joint Commissioner or Additional Commissioner of Customs (Import), New Custom House, Ballard, Mumbai;
(ii) Assistant Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner of Customs (Imports), Air Cargo Complex, Sahar, Andheri (E), Mumbai-400009; for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to Show Cause Notice pertaining to M/s Max-Pure Water Systems Pvt. Ltd., 11-12, Krishna Industrial Estate, Kadodara Road,Saroli, Surat and others, issued vide F.No. DRI/AZU/INV-09/2009 dated the 26th April, 2010, by the Additional Director General, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Ahmedabad, Zonal Unit, Rupen Bungalow, Jain Merchant Society, Near Mahalaxami Cross Road, Paldi, Ahmedabad-380007.
